Norma has been President of the Ealing Central and Acton Association since February 2018, having taken on the position from her husband David who had held the position for over two decades. Norma has been an active presence within the Hanger Hill ward for many years, supporting the area in which she lives. Norma has previously stood for council elections in South Acton and continues to be a key supporter of many community groups across the borough.
Vlod has been Chairman of the Ealing Central and Acton Association since February 2018. Originally from Worcestershire, Vlod has lived in Ealing and Acton for over 25 years. He works as an accountant in Central London. Vlod was a councillor in Acton from 2006-2010 when the Conservatives where running Ealing Council, taking responsibilities for policy and management of street cleaning, transport and safer communities.
Gregory has lived in Ealing all his life. He was educated at St. Benedict's School and has been active in the community ever since. He is a governor at a local primary school and has been an Ealing councillor since 2007. Greg is Leader of the Conservative Group on the council and spokesman on Finance. He led the successful campaign against local A&E downgrades and locally he continues to campaign for cleaner streets and better public services. He is our current GLA candidate for Ealing & Hillingdon in the upcoming GLA and Mayoral elections in May.
Nigel was first elected as a councillor in 1994. He is married with two children and has lived in the Borough since 1976. Although now retired Nigel enjoyed a career in business and finance. He is currently Shadow Cabinet Member for Public Realm and Opposition spokesperson for Licensing and Regulatory, and Green Champion for Trees, Hedgerows, Footpaths, Orchards and Heritage
Seema was born in Kenya, read psychology and ran a successful travel business for many years before entering local government. Seema is a highly active voluntary professional and key charity supporter for over three decades. She is multilingual and speaks over 5 languages, notably Urdu, Punjabi, Swahili, German and Gujarati. She was the first female Asian Conservative councillor to be elected in the London Borough of Ealing.
Anthony was born and grew up in Ealing, and worked for many years in the borough as a veterinary surgeon. Anthony is currently the longest serving councillor on Ealing council, having served the ward of Ealing Broadway since 1978. Anthony has particularly interest in the Environment, the state of Ealing's roads and pavements, parks and open spaces.
Joanna has lived in Ealing for over 40 years and her family has been in Ealing Common since the 1960s. Joanna has experience working as a project management consultant specialising in aviation, transport, education and energy. Currently, she is the Conservative lead on planning and sits on the Gunnersbury Park Regeneration Board. Since being first elected as an Ealing Common councillor in 2006. Joanna has worked extensively on road and traffic problems in the ward ranging from road resurfacing to CPZs.
David has lived in Northfields for over 30 years, the area he represents on Ealing Council. He is a governor for Fielding Primary School in his ward. He has formerly served as our Group Leader on the Council. He currently serves as a trustee of Cultivate London which is an innovative horticultural and landscaping Social Enterprise based across West London.
Anu has been Deputy Chair Political of the Ealing Central and Acton Association since February 2020. Born and raised in Ealing, where she was educated locally at Notting Hill and Ealing High School. She works at a corporate law firm in Central London. Anu was a Council candidate in Perivale in the 2018 local council elections and has co-ordinated campaigns within the Conservative Party at both a local and national level.
Sara has been Deputy Chair Fundraising of the Ealing Central and Acton Association since February 2015. Born, raised and educated locally in the Ealing area, Sara works as an Events Manager at the think tank The Centre for Social Justice in Westminster. Sara was a candidate for the West Ham constituency in the 2019 General Election and a Council candidate in Acton in the 2018 local elections. Sara has been a local activist against crime, solving homelessness and an advocate for animal welfare in west London for nearly a decade and continues to raise awareness to these issues.
As the Vice Chairman of the local Safer Neighbourhood board, Sara actively works to build the bridge between the community’s needs and the Metropolitan Police.
