Ealing’s Labour-run council is slashing vital services for children, planning to shut 13 children’s centres across the borough. Cutting the total from 25 down to just 12. Meanwhile, your council tax is going up yet again by 4.99%. More money out of your pocket, yet fewer services for families.
Children’s centres provide essential services, including health visits, midwife care, perinatal mental health services, and crucial family support.
Labour’s cuts will see closures include Jubilee Children’s Centre, Hathaway Children’s Centre, Northolt Park, and The Log Cabin Children’s Centre.
These closures may make it difficult for those who don’t drive to access these services.
