The Ealing Conservatives are appalled by Labour failing the Metropolitan Police. Despite funding increasing by £128 million, the Met have warned that they may have to cut officer numbers by 2,300.
Cllr Seema Kumar, the Ealing Conservative Crime and Antisocial Behaviour spokesperson said:
'I am deeply concerned about London Labour cutting police numbers across the capital. Incidences of theft, robbery and shoplifting are increasing, and we need more police officers to tackle this crime wave. I will continue to call for more police officers in Ealing, so residents know they are being protected. The Ealing Conservatives will always back law and order in the Borough.'
Labour promised to protect Ealing residents - and all Londoners - from crime. They are failing. Theft, robbery and shoplifting are rising whilst police numbers are falling under Labour's watch.
We fully support Susan Hall and the Conservative members of the Greater London Assembly in their highlighting of London's criminal underbelly.
Back the Conservatives for tough action on crime in Ealing and across London.
