Ealing Common: Safety on the Bridge

Cllr Joanna Dabrowska is pleased to announce that, after 18 months of pursuing TfL and Ealing Council, the footbridge between Olive Road and Church Gardens has had lighting installed to make it safer for residents to use especially during the darker winter months. Local resident and Conservative council candidate, Timothy Patten said, “Living on the Trees Estate, I’ve seen Joanna tirelessly fight for lighting on our footbridge to make residents safer. The lights provide security and Joanna’s dedication to all in the Ward is just one of the reasons I stand with her and Barry Hartness at this election.”

Joanna has also been working on getting an appropriate barrier to stop moped riders and cyclists riding through the bridge endangering residents’ lives.

Options are being discussed to ensure trouble-free access for wheelchairs and wide pushchairs.
