Today, Cllr Seema Kumar had the pleasure of visiting CAPE (Community Activities Project Ealing), an organisation which provides services to those suffering from mental illnesses. After Cllr Kumar recommended that they receive a five-figure donation, they invited her to see their work and the real change they are making in the Borough.
The event, held in Ealing Abbey Parish Hall, saw CAPE users enjoy yoga, massages, henna, live music, art, poetry, a raffle, tea and a gift bag. They also had the opportunity to take an HIV test, to learn about the work of Mindfood, and to receive wellbeing information.
