Cllr Kumar regrets the closing of Daniel's of Ealing

Cllr Seema Kumar spoke for all Ealing residents as she expressed regret at the closure of Daniel's.

For more than 120 years, Daniel's was a cornerstone of Ealing's economy. Generations shopped and worked there. But earlier this year it closed its doors for the last time.

The owners cited rising costs and economic uncertainty for its closure. If an iconic and beloved shop like Daniel's cannot survive, what is left for our small traders?
