Hanger Hill ward police panel

Last night, 22nd January, Cllr Fabio Conti joined local residents at the quarterly Hanger Hill Ward Panel police meeting. A number of issues were discussed including thefts from and of motor vehicles and the on going work the police are doing in regards to this, including recent arrests in the area. One of the big concerns that residents expressed is speeding, in particular, on Boileau Road and Queens Drive. Having raised concerns about speeding on Boileau Road last year, the council agreed to a traffic survey, which took place in December, and we are currently awaiting the results. Cllr Conti has written to Highways to request that they look into speeding on Queens Drive and what action can be taken in relation to speeding.
