Ealing Conservatives are actively committed to encouraging the use of electric cars to help reduce the scourge of air pollution. We are pressuring Ealing Council to support the Government’s plan for electric vehicle infrastructure and new charging technologies.
Next week Ealing will be waking up to find on their doormats a demand for an increase in their Council Tax, whilst outside their street is dirty, their rubbish collected only once a fortnight, a charge for garden waste and no chance of speaking to a human being at the Council if things go wrong.
Despite a lot of misinformation and claims over the last 10 years, Ealing hospital is not closing. Getting the facts out about local changes has been frustrated by Ealing Council, who are preventing the NHS from publishing details of changes in the Council Magazine: Around Ealing.
Going out on a limb, I am going to say that a political election, like the New Year, brings a sense of hope and the spirt of goodwill. The election of Sadiq Khan as Mayor in May 2016, is a perfect example of this.
