2018 Boundary Review

An Update from Ealing Common Conservatives

The Boundary Commission released its proposals for new constituencies in England, partially in order to redraw the boundaries in order to accommodate the change of the size of each ward and partially to reduce the number of MPs in the House of Commons from 650 to 600. The boundary review is carried out by an independent organisation with a 12 week window for each constituency across the country to put forward proposals to amend the suggested changes.  By law, every constituency the Boundary Commission proposes must contain between 71,031 and 78,507 electors.
