Patrick has now lived in Ealing for the past six years. As a first-time buyer, he is keenly aware of the importance of keeping Ealing clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. He works in policy development, having written policy proposals for both central and local government, as well as the Mayor of London. He has a special interest in transport and road safety issues. In his spare time, Patrick loves mountain climbing and running triathlons, and has recently competed in the Ealing half-marathon. He is also a supporter and advisor to a charity which supports London’s homeless.
Andrew works in the horticultural sector and is currently studying towards a diploma in garden design. He is a former public policy adviser and worked in planning communications. He has been a resident in the ward for over eight years and has been chair of governors, for over four years, at a primary school in the borough. Andrew is also involved in the local community association and history group. He is a founder Member of Act One, the new arts centre and cinema, which serves residents in the whole borough. Andrew's experience sets him in good stead to deal with council matters relating to the arts, education and planning.
Liz has lived in Ealing with her family since 1977. Since retiring from teaching in an Ealing state secondary school, she has continued to work as a GCSE examiner and a writer of online teaching resources and fiction. Liz enjoys reading, gardening and travelling. She is passionate about improving both the built and the natural environment. She is currently a member of St Stephens church.
